Kaleidoscopic Whisper is still chugging along. Development has shifted toward looking at the business side of things since the last update. Now that some of those pieces are in place, creative work resumed with a vengence

Playtesting

I currently have 3 different groups in playtests that I am running. I would love to send out working copies early in 2024 to a select group of playtesters to run it for their groups and provide informative feedback before this all goes to editing and printing. If that is something you are interested in, shoot me a message.

Writing

The tower, a Celestial Observatory, is 90% done. The maps have been finished and I am working on the room entry text now. I’m also chugging away at the magical relics and unique monsters. I dropped a sample of one of the relics I’ve been making for this adventure, Amphion’s Torquetum, a device that lets the user view a timelapse of the object they are looking at.

Once I have the relic and monster stat blocks completed, I will compile the adventure outline, tower dungeon and stats into an “ashcan”/rough demo edition which will let you play through this adventure.

Art

The Celestial Observatory maps are complete. The regional hexmap and the Celestial Observatory maps are final art. Next up is compiling and illustrating NPC, monster and relic art assets.
